Sturgis to Minnesota

All day riding today, 470+ miles! Rode a gravel road about 3 miles to avoid all the traffic leaving Sturgis. The first 150-200 miles were tough due to 30 MPH winds and 100 degree heat, but we pushed forward at the posted 80 MPH speed limit eventually stopping for a break at Wall Drug in South Dakota. We have seen signs for Wall Drug randomly placed on the side of the highway since Colorado so we were definitely stopping to check it out. As we drew closer the signs increased with regularity advertising spectacular deals and sights.

This place is huge, like an indoor city, taking up a few city blocks!

Hand built dining rooms in the cafe.

City built inside with real stores

I found a lady to talk to

After 470+ miles, leaving South Dakota, entering Minnesota, our 8th state ridden through, we made it just in time to setup camp in Jackson.

Tomorrow Mall of America!
